As a Channel Marketing Manager at Micron, you will serve as a subject matter expert for Crucial and Micron B2B /Consumer marketing strategy and execute within the channel to drive profitable growth for our partners. You will be responsible for executing marketing programs with our partners, optimizing marketing spend, and ensuring maximum return on investment. You will work closely with our channel sales, product marketing, and integrated marketing teams to develop and execute channel specific marketing activities. You will be directly responsible for MDF marketing plans, channel demand generation, product launch activities, sales promotions, events, partner portal management, and partner communications. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capability into customer benefits are crucial in this role.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Drive ongoing communications with channel partners including, but not limited to: Customer and Partner promotions Channel incentive programs Demand and lead-generation activities Partner/End-Customer Events Management of channel incentives (SPIFFs) through partner MDF and Coop programs Lead multi-dimensional, complex projects of critical importance for Consumer and B2B marketing initiatives. Manage marketing relationships with primary Consumer/B2B customers to ensure maximum presence through their marketing reach. Work closely with Internal Micron teams including Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Pricing, and Sales to implement marketing activities that support the strategic direction of the product and company. Plan and implement product launch activities throughout our Strategic Partners Sales enablement- work with commercial and regional sales teams to ensure they have the right product materials within their accounts. Work with internal/external contacts to resolve highly sensitive issues. Manage partner marketing program analytics and help drive ROI for MDF spend.02 Leverage internal tools to train and drive MDF activities/spend through the Micron Partner Portal Evaluate and track competitive channel marketing programs and best practices to ensure Micron’s channel strategies are competitive and align to industry trends. Cross collaboration with Channel Marketing Team, Supply Chain, Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, and Pricing teams to fully align activities.
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in marketing for storage or other high- tech related field with proven track record of successfully taking new products to market, driving market share growth, and producing profitable revenue. The ability to build relationships with peers, sales, resellers, and customers. Self-starter who can implement company strategy throughout channel vehicles. Experience putting on events Strong communication and presentation skills including presenting to senior management. Demonstrated business acumen and critical thinking skills. Experience working with cross-functional global teams across multiple locations. Deep understanding of both B2C and B2B Marketing efforts Ability to travel as required.
