Responsibilities and Duties 61 Provides team members with direction on work assignments, operational priorities, time recording, and technical troubleshooting resources. 61 Collaborates with the project management team to optimize and prioritize resources and to make decisions regarding these resources and their impact on plant operations. 61 Facilitates and supports employee teams and ensures that they have required resources, such as information and training, to increase the effectiveness of these work teams. 61 Works closely with other leaders to assist them in dealing with issues that are either outside their scope of authority or that are outside of their areas of expertise. 61 Identifies training and development opportunities for team members to improve their ability to perform assigned duties effectively and to maintain current job knowledge. 61 Offers assistance and guidance to team members on processes, techniques, methods and practices in areas of expertise. 61 Oversees decisions regarding staffing, performance evaluation, and corrective actions for team members. 61 Prepares requisitions to secure equipment, supplies and materials required to support plant operations, ensuring that best value is secured for the company. 61 Manages assigned budget by tracking costs on a regular basis and reducing expenditures wherever practical. 61 Utilizes manual and automated systems to prepare reports and process information, maintaining a high degree of data integrity. 61 Contacts internal and external resources as needed to secure support required to accomplish assigned responsibilities. 61 Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards. 61 Maintains full compliance and conducts all activities in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills 61 Bachelor degree in technical or mechanical field or equivalent experience. 61 2+ years in performing skilled work in a manufacturing environment. 61 Able to establish priorities effectively and push for completion. 61 Ability to understand data from a variety of sources and use it to make correct decisions. 61 Must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and showing others how it's done. 61 Ability to work effectively with employees, peers, managers, customers, and vendor representatives. 61 Strong communication skills (verbal, written, etc.). 61 Proficiency in use of Microsoft office and have experiences in use of ERP system. 61 Must be able to lift at least 20-30 lbs. 62 Those who have applied for a United States visa are preferred!
