We are seeking a skilled and experienced technical engineer to join our APAC technology team. As a technical engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications that meet the needs of our stakeholders. He or she shall also be responsible for maintaining internal web applications/systems e.g. Disney country website, marketing websites, and internal operation tools/systems.

Key Responsibilities
61 Work with team to have Technical Grooming sessions to design Architect and technical solutions
61 Should be able to effectively and closely work with stakeholders in gathering and validating requirements etc.
61 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless integration of features and timely project delivery
61 Design, develop, and maintain scalable, and efficient applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices
61 Maintain internal applications/systems and ensure their proper functionality
61 Support different APAC teams to drive agile projects
Skills & Attributes For Success
61 Knowledge of various frameworks, and strong knowledge of Angular will be an advantage
61 Solid knowledge of RXJS, JavaScript, CSS, TypeScript, ES6
61 Familiar with relational and non-relational database operation, especially metadata related data storage and query
61 Proven experience in AWS CI/CD pipelines is considered an advantage
61 Experience in building REST APIs in AWS Technologies and Microservices
61 Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
61 Proven skills in implementing accessibility and security compliance
61 Exposure and experience in working in Agile/Scrum methodology
61 Exposure and experience in using AWS services and handling Linux Operating System and Linux commands
61 Experience with Python programming and multi-model AI training knowledge is a plus
61 Good communication skills in verbal and written English
Preferred Education & Experience
61 Bachelor’s degree and above in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
61 5+ years of professional experience in web application development
