Purpose of the Position: In this role, you will expertly and effectively provide pricing support in Asia region for Corning Life Science’s pricing function as it relates to contract operations. We look for you to build and maintain subject matter expertise proprietary with SFDC CPQ module, Peoplesoft and SAP. You will support pricing guidelines, recommend dealer discount, and various flags in the Pricing System. This position interacts internally with pricing colleagues, Sales, Commercial Ops, Customer Service, Channel, Product Line Management and distributor/customer partners. Day to Day Responsibilities: - Develop/refine pricing contract processes. - Perform pricing research and analysis. - Process and administer tier dealer price and direct quotes. - Support annual pricing, special pricing, and regional pricing analysis. - Monitor pricing and carry out pricing rules. - Participate in defining pricing rules/policies. - Monitor, police, and help educate sales reps on pricing policies and rules. - Support pricing strategy setup and deployment to be aligned with product line strategy.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree is required. - Open to new graduates. Prefer 1+ year of experience with Customer Distributor interactions and / or pricing processes experience and / or finance experience. - Good written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
