Position Overview: The position will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital merchandising strategies to enhance online sales performance, improve customer experience, and drive the digital growth of our brand. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in e-commerce platform operations, data-driven decision-making skills, and a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends. This role will collaborate closely with the China merchandising team and the global digital merchandising team to develop OTB plans for digital channels, replenishment, stock transfer and inventory rebalance, following global guidelines based on customer profiles and online shopping preferences specific to different digital channels in China. Work with the local logistic team for transportation of inventory. Key Responsibilities: Digital Merchandising Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement online merchandising strategies to increase conversion rates, customer engagement, and sales. Optimize product categorization, page layouts, and content presentation based on market trends, consumer demand, and data analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as marketing, product, design, and technical teams) to ensure alignment between merchandising strategies and overall brand and marketing strategies. Collaborate with global digital merchandising team and local digital team, to integrate with global system with all the product information (image, product name, price, size, material, colour, etc.) to display across all the CN digital channels. 2.OTB & Best-Selling Products Lock-In: Collaborate closely with the China merchandising team and the global digital merchandising team to develop OTB plans for digital channels. Based on historical sales data and current performance across China’s digital channels , ensure the lock-in of top-selling products from the classic collection in China’s digital channels. Support the China merchandising team and global digital merchandising team in planning OTB for newness and other classic products, ensuring accurate and timely product supply across digital channels. 3.Replenishment Management: Conduct timely replenishment for top-selling products based on weekly sales data (WTD); perform comprehensive replenishment for all products based on monthly sales data (MTD). Coordinate with both local and global warehouses, as well as available inventory in offline stores, to ensure continuous and timely product supply. 4.Stock Transfer and Inventory Rebalancing: Manage internal product transfers between different digital platforms to ensure inventory balance and smooth product circulation. Collaborate with the China merchandising team and the global digital merchandising team to rebalance inventory, optimizing product allocation and distribution. 5.Product Delisting Management: Follow global guidelines and work with the local merchandising team to efficiently execute the product delisting process, ensuring consistency between inventory and sales strategies. 6.Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor competitors’ digital merchandising strategies and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and potential threats. Conduct market research to gain insights into target customers’ behavior and preferences, adjusting merchandising strategies accordingly. 7.Digital Product Knowledge & Introduction Cooperate with global digital merchandising team, local merchandising team and local training team to share the digital product and key selling focus. 8.Weekly Assortment Report & Analysis: Provide detailed weekly reports and analysis of product assortments, tracking product performance, sales trends, and inventory levels. Offer recommendations based on data analysis to improve future merchandising strategies and sales plans. Job Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above preferably in Marketing, E-commerce, Business Management, or a related field 2.Work Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or merchandising management, preferably in FMCG, fashion, or technology industries. 3.Skill Requirements: Proficient in operating major e-commerce platforms and understanding user behavior. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in tools such as Analytics, Excel, and PPT. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and deliver on time. Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with different functional teams. Keen insight into digital marketing, emerging technologies, and consumer trends, with a willingness to embrace challenges and innovation. 4.Language Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global team.
