Application Engineer
Working Location: Shanghai
Responsibility
1.Act as a technical window between SKF and customers, to deeply understand
customers' technical needs and provide competitive solutions, including
selection and new product development, application recommendations, as well as
carrying out bearing calculations, technical specification reviews, and failure
analysis.
2.Coordinate and cooperate with design and development team and manufacturing
team to develop new products and promote product quality improvement.
3.Lead product testing, results analysis and failure analysis.
4.Establish and maintain good relationship with customer's engineering team.
Conduct technical presentations, trainings and seminars to customers and
internal colleagues.
5. Collect competitors' technical solutions and comparative analysis
Requirement:
1. Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in mechanical, materials or
transportation engineering.
2. Experience in the bearing industry, familiar with motor applications and
understanding of bearing products.
3. Skilled in drawing and modeling using Auto CAD, Pro E and other tools
4. Proficient in English reading and writing, good listening and speaking
skills
5. Excellent communication skills, proactive in communicating with external
customers, and promoting business through technical influence
6. Able to accept more than 30% business trip.
