ABOUT YOUR ROLE: Manage fabric development and fabric sourcing for Kontoor Brands Inc. Take lead a special project for fabric redevelopment/substituation across mills and different regions. Drive counter development and cost saving exercise with respect region mills.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: You will be critical in delivering these activities but not limited to:
61 Work on seasonal fabric development by Identify the strength & competencies of mills handling ,input on Kontoor needs and drive them for Innovation week . 61 Support Design , Global Product , Garment souring team, SDC / BDC in sample development with best value for Kontoor Brands. 61 Keep close monitoring the merchandising process, response to customers within 24 hours. 61 Support your manager to develop seasonal calendar, ensure seasonal fabric development deadline are being met. Co-ordinate with US Merchandising team to plan the seasonal souring trip. 61 Drive cost saving exercise using Global product negotiation tool for effective negotiation with mil, accountable for collecting fabric focus list from US. Work with mills to manage lead time and capacity to achieve business needs. 61 Monitor bulk fabric testing status to ensure quality standard in being fulfilled. Deal with mills in case of any failure in testing and make necessary alert to souring team. 61 Drive counter development & cost saving exercise with respective region mills..

61 Minimum 8 years’ of experience as fabric merchandiser or senior merchandiser 61 Fluent in both spoken and written English. 61 Strong Communication Skills. 61 Strong Fabric knowledge .
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree Held: Degree holder in BA, Textile Engineering or Textile & Fashion
SPECIFIC WORKING CONDITIONS ( if any) Include but not limited to 83 Frequency of Travel: Based on Business Need
