We are excited to offer the position of Business Development Lead to an entrepreneurial member of our growing China team. On is the fasted running brand globally. Your Team:
As you might expect from a sports brand with running at its core, the China team at On is a fast-paced place to be. You’ll be part of the China Business Development team and co-working with a group of highly motivated individuals and teams who work all together towards the On mission of igniting the human spirit through movement.
This role is based in Shanghai, China.
Your Mission:
61 Be accountable for the new store location scouting/store relocation/lease extension, commercial and legal terms negotiation.
61 Work closely with cross function teams(Commercial, Design, Construction, Marketing, etc.) to align on the store positioning, capex, sales projection, and opening schedule.
61 Refine expansion strategy and priorities for assigned regions and support BD team to provide strong decision basis to drive the business growth.
61 Maintain strong and healthy landlords/ partners relationship to secure the priority on the customer side through telling brand stories, demonstrating product features and how Constantly explore opportunities to optimized existing business to position brand in a proper and better place
61 Initiate special projects to explore further opportunities to drive business growth and build up brand awareness with cross function team.
61 Provide market information and inputs to internal teams from business development perspective
61 Provide decision basis and alternatives on focus cities and regions and partnerships to drive the business growth
61 Develop and maintain strong and healthy landlords/ partners relationship to secure the priority on the customer side through telling brand stories, demonstrating product features and how Constantly explore opportunities to optimized existing business to position brand in a proper and better place
61 Provide market information and inputs to operation teams from business development perspective
61 Initiate special projects with cross functional teams to provide the strong supports to achieve business growth targets
Your Story:
61 A candidate with no less than 5 years-experience in the business development-related field in retail or commercial real estate industry
61 You relish the challenge of developing business with the existing customer base as well as creating new opportunities for growth
61 You are self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively and independently as well as being able to collaborate and contribute positively to the Business Development team.
61 You enjoy connecting with landlords/partners/customers to present our products, technology and philosophy in an inspiring way.
61 Sophisticated problem-solving skills and be able to take tough and difficult conversation and negotiation.
61 Good analytical skills
61 Can-do attitude with creative thinking ability
61 Be able to travel and work independently in a complex environment.
