We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Marketing Manager in China (all genders) with deep technical knowledge and preferably well connected in the Display industry.
What is your Role: - Customer interface for Marketing. - Interface to display and CE industry to collect road maps, technical trends and future products. - Promote Merck products and their value proposition to customers, end markets and brands. - Chinese representative in the Global Marketing organization. - Part of cross-functional and global teams. - Combine and assess Sales and R&D perspective on LC projects and customers, add Marketing perspective. - Responsible for Global project of worldwide tracking of Competitor activities and status at customers.
Who you are: - Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing). - At least 3-5 years of experience in technical marketing or a similar role. - Experience collaborating with technical teams and understanding product development processes. - Strong knowledge in market analysis, competitive analysis, and product positioning. - Communication and presentation skills o Excellent written and verbal communication skills. o Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations. - Technical understanding o Understanding of technical products and their applications in the industry. o Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable marketing messages. - Independent thinking and working attitude. - Strong analytical skills for evaluating market data and deriving strategic recommendations. - Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. - Willingness to travel occasionally to meet customers or attend trade shows in China.
