Play as a pivotal role in retail network team to drive business transformation and growth. This individual will be instrumental in overseeing the network strategy / transformation initiavies across all MaxMara brands in China. Work closely with CBDO to support development China retail network strategic direction, identification of key priorities, and monitoring / enhancing ongoing project performance. Conduct market and internal analysis, design tools and new methodologies to enhance strategic decision making, providing proactive process management and value-added advise to improve overall brand performance and landlord relations.
1 Build and maintain a China market potential and peer performance intelligence to enable strategic decision making on brand retail footprints
2 Build and maintain a best in class methodology that enables objective and fact-base site evaluation based on brand strategy
3 Conduct regular assessment on brand network to provide a perspective on penetration rates, site performance vs peers, etc.
4 Run and convene the cross functional war-room comprising HR, Legal, Merch, BD, Ops on key network action execution (e.g, opening, closure)
5 Support special initiatives such as rent optimization through analysis and benchmarking to identify and size opportunities for rental improvement and develop negotiation strategies
6 Provide support for cross-functional alignment on network performance improvement, e.g., with marketing or Ops
7 Prepare structured communication and analysis that will be used in senior executive meetings and external communication (e.g., landlord updates)
8 Structure and maintain governance and communication with Italy HQ and coordinate with respective CEO offices in Italy and China
Requirements: - Bachelor degree or above
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management, strategic planning, preferably in top management / strategy consulting environment - Previous fashion apparel retail or real estate related experience a plus
- Strong data processing and quantitative analysis skills; comfortable dealing with large amount of data to distill insights for management communication and decisioning
- Strong strategic thinking and problem solving mindset to identify root cause of issues, propose solutions, and test and learn
- Strong ability to develop the methodologies, tools, processes, and techniques used to monitor change
- Strong executive communication skills both verbal and written to synthesize key information and messages for efficient discussion and decision making
- Proven track record of managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaborative as needed and working in a dynamic, high pressure environment.
- Skilled in the MS Office Product Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint.
