Key skills and requirements 61 Familiar with clothing/accessories/footwear production processes, quality standards and testing requirements 61 At least 10 years working experience in a related field as quality assurance or production technologist, it is better for the UK / European market. 61 Knowledge of multiple different General Merchandise, including different kinds of woven products, jersey products, leather products, knitwear, lingerie, luggage, home textile, accessories, footwear and so on. 61 Knowledge about the UK Retail industry and/or European softgoods buying processes 61 Computer Skills – Familiar with MS Office and internet is required 61 Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers/factories, team members, and merchandisers in the Sourcing office. 61 Good communication skills in English are required 61 Experience in factory would be an advantage 61 Regular travels to factory are required 61 An audit qualification (ISO 9000 / SA8000 / ISO 14000) would be a definite advantage
