External contacts -Maintains existing relationships and establishes new relationships - in close cooperation with Sales - to tubing processing companies in China -Represents SCHOTT at external fairs and conferences
*Customer Service (internal and external) -Provides application- and technical consulting and trainings for tubing processing companies and their customers, for Sales Offices (globally) and Universities -Develops training material, presentations and publications -Determines market and customer requirements for our products -Develops recommendations and adequate measures for Sales, Development and Production -Provides general support to our customers when developing and launching new products or when facing technical problems
*General Development Tasks -Contributes to establishing the necessary user requirement specifications -Ensures that the product complies with all market requirements -Leads and coordinates all projects to improve development projects
*Strategy -Develops and implements the product strategies in China -Drives the market launch of New Product
*Product Development -Drives the coordination of all measures regarding product portfolio and product life cycle in China (from product development to market launch to phasing out) -Develops and coordinates all product specifications (including customizing options) in close cooperation with the customers. -Responsible for continuous market research and product analysis -Maintains a profound level of expertise by frequently participating in training measures
*Fulfills special tasks and assignments within the area of responsibility
your profiles: -Master degree in natural sciences,ideally followed by a PHD-degree (or comparable),prefer major in pharma, material, etc. - 5 yrs in Product Management in a B2B environment with complex products/ components(ideally 3yrs in a pharmaceutical environment) --Proficient Chinese, English language skills -Experience in quality assurance -Knowledge in glass analytics -MS Office -Project Management skills
