Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the development, testing and standardizing of CNC machining programs.
In this role you will lead a team of CNC programmers and technicians. On daily base you need to coordinate the testing, development of CNC programs coming from the sending sites as part of the tech transfer and Ramp-up of the site. Or develop them internally, taking existing products and standards into account.
The senior CNC programmer leads & supports the continuous improvements efforts in the CNC Department e.g. Lights Out Machining, Tooling Improvements, improvement of the production stability Cycle time reduction etc. Is (one of the) contact person for the tech transfer with the sending sites and the global Straumann Group Network.

Major Responsibilities of the Position:
85 Lead a team of CNC Programmers, (senior) CNC technicians and other related functions for the testing, development and standardizing of CNC programs.
85 Develop and define CNC programs, tooling and machining strategies for new parts.
85 Help define and maintain CNC program & machining standards.
85 Develops CNC programs according to business needs.
85 Database work for the production process Tool management software (Tooling, CNC Programme and SKU Database)
85 Complete knowledge of all procedures and quality requirements
85 Continuous improvement work for the CNC machining process
85 Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.

最低资格
Minimum Qualifications:
85 Minimum 8 years machining experience (operate, set-up and trouble shoot)
85 Minimum 5 years CNC programming. Strong knowledge with Swiss style turning machines Citizen machine or Willemin-Macodel 5axis machining.
85 Experience with 5-axis milling machines
85 Experience in Multi spindle machines is a plus
85 Strong experience in CAD/CAM programming
85 Good oral communication in English, able to write and read
85 Previous medical device experience preferred
