Responsibilities: 1. Tool Development and Management: -Lead the design and development of manufacturing tools (e.g., molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures at supplier site) in collaboration with engineering,R&D teams and suppliers -Manage the tool development process from concept through design, testing, validation, and deployment. -Ensure that all tools are produced to meet quality, durability, and performance requirements while optimizing for cost and efficiency. -Oversee tool maintenance schedules to avoid production downtime. 2. Parts Industrialization: -Drive the industrialization process of new parts and components, ensuring they are designed for manufacturability and mass production. -Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes , cycle time, and cost 3. Supplier and Vendor Management: -Identify, qualify, and manage relationships with tooling suppliers and manufacturers in China. -Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost control of tools and parts within budget -Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to maintain high standards of performance. 4. Quality and Compliance: -Ensure all tools and parts comply with Socomec's quality standards, local regulations, and safety requirements. -Implement quality control processes to monitor and improve the performance of tools and parts. Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. -Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tooling development and parts industrialization, preferably in the electrical or electronics manufacturing industry. -Strong knowledge of tool design, materials, manufacturing processes (injection molding, stamping, CNC machining), and production techniques. -Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers in China. -Proven project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. -Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
