Job profile summary: Oversees warehouse operations, managing a team of employees who receive, handle, store, and dispatch products, systems, and services to customers.
Your area of responsibility: 1. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet warehouse demand as per productions schedules and workflow. 2. Develops and maintains departmental work instructions for all tasks. 3. Codes and prepares proper receipt/dispatch paperwork. 4. Ensures maintenance of equipment and facilities. 5. Identifies and recommends technical equipment and facilities improvements as necessary. 6. Optimizes warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization. 7. Recommends measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment. 8. Supervises and assists in daily warehouse and shipping operations. 9. Ensures stock accuracy by conducting periodic stock takes and/or cycle counting. 10. Ensures set productivity and key performance indication (KPI) targets are met by motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce.
Your background: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 4. Proficiency in inventory management software, S&OP, and ERP systems. 5. Excellent communication and leadership skills. 6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 7. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency. 8. Fluent in English is mandatory, and better to have if German
