Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly passionate and motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Shanghai,
China. This role focuses on supporting the technical bidding process for our medium voltage pad mount
transformers and high voltage power transformer offerings. The ideal candidate will work closely with
our manufacturing partners to ensure timely and accurate responses to the sales team’s requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist the US sales team in the technical bidding process for medium voltage pad mount
transformers and high voltage power transformers.
● Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, and proposals to ensure accuracy and
compliance with customer requirements.
● Collaborate with manufacturing partners to obtain necessary technical information and resources,
ensuring timely and accurate responses to the sales team.
● Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team, helping to address customer inquiries
and resolve technical issues.
● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitor offerings.
● Participate in customer meetings and presentations, both virtually and in-person, to support the
sales team’s efforts.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
between sales, manufacturing, engineering, and customer support departments.
● Travel occasionally to customer sites and manufacturing facilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus).
Experience: Preferred 3+ years of experience in medium and high voltage power transformers.
Availability: Willingness to be on-call beyond typical work hours.
Skills:
● Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
● Strong technical understanding of medium and high voltage power transformers required;
experience in a technical sales or engineering support role preferred.
● Strong work ethic and sense of ownership of products and projects.
● Strong problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail.
● Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple
tasks simultaneously.
● Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
