61 Ensures good EHS practices by being present on the work floor
61 Anticipates, recognizes, evaluates and provides recommendations about
61 Environment, health and safety on the plant
61 Provides (coach) support to the operators on EHS matters
61 Assists the other managers of the company in all project/development of the plant (new equipment, modification, …)
61 Ensure that all engineering employees have the correct equipment to carry out their work safely and this equipment is maintained to a suitable standard

Compliance and regulatory
61 Writes and implements safety work instructions and procedures
61 Performs safety briefing and training to the personal
61 Defines risk analysis teams, initiates and performs risk analyses
61 Performs accident/incident investigations and provides recommendations for avoiding re-occurrence
61 Report EHS issues to the plant manager and the management team
61 Regular and timely work with local government safety bureau for EHS related issues.
61 Takes contact with safety authorities, Manage safety suppliers
61 Performs HSE audits
61 Regular meeting and communication with all plant levels for EHS related issues.
61 Develop long, short and medium term strategies for the benefit of the business and manage their implementation by agreed action plans.
61 Continually strive to achieve a “World Class” sterilization facility in all respects

Knowledge/education and training:
61 Knowledge of safety management, fire prevention, hazardous chemical required;
61 Major in Safety/chemical engineering, Environmental science preferred;
61 Certified safety engineer certificate preferred;

Experiences
61 Engineering with industrial experiences in production/maintenance, chemical industry related factory experiences are preferred.
61 Safety officer 8+ years experiences required.
61 Knowledge of legislation (Chinese and regional) regarding health, safety and environment
