Teaching and Learning 1. plan, prepare and deliver schemes of work in accordance with school policies. 2. contribute consistently to collaborative knowledge-based platforms such as O365 suite, PowerSchool, Managebac and Teams; 3. possess a sound knowledge of the relevant curriculum for YWIES Gubei (the YCYW Curriculum Framework, scope and sequences etc., CAIE, and other relevant curriculum) 4. Deliver the YCYW curriculum for Core Class, Life Skills, Mentoring, Portfolio, or other YCYW programmes as needed to promote holistic learning in all year levels. 5. All teachers are responsible for core class/homeroom and mentoring students during their core times to promote student wellness and wellbeing. This includes open communication with the students’ parents on a regular basis through our ManageBac or other relevant system, and Parent Student Teacher Conferences throughout the year as needed.
Pastoral 1. be aware of the social and emotional well-being of pupils and the need to respond to situations; 2. support student behavior management processes; 3. support targeted programs for identified students; 4. promote and safeguard the welfare of all students, staff and parents at school; 5. promote additional activities and opportunities for pupils outside the classroom; 6. work with Student Support personnel when needed.
