Main Tasks:
- Function as Representative of Campus EHS Management, to develop and maintain Campus EHS handbook specifically focused on R&D community.
- Monitor and supervise the implementation of BASF EHS standards and Campus EHS procedures, mainly by providing trainings and info exchange to Safety Champion Team members.
- Sound alignment with other functional units to achieve the best performance.
- Support Campus EHS Management, participate in developing and maintaining Campus EHS handbook. Identify deficiencies and potential risks of Campus activities, enforce standardized procedures and requirements. As main coordinator internal and external audit and inspections. Analyze the outcome of EHS implementation through workshop or inspection and propose the optimization of the existing risk management procedure, including providing general EHS trainings.
- Develop training material according to laboratory requirement and organize proper training to lab colleagues. Support to implement the work permit procedure within Campus based on site requirement. Optimize management of change procedure to meet laboratory needs and provide relevant training.
- Perform as EHS key account person for BU labs in Campus, support to explain the EHS standard requirement and find the solution to meet BASF requirement.
- Coordinate safety projects and programs (e.g.. Award and Sanction, GSD) to improve safety awareness of R&D employee, to meet safety standards of BASF code.
Requirements:
- Education: Above Bachelor majored in chemistry or chemical engineering
- Working Experience: At least three years working experience in chemistry lab or chemical plant, preferable with some EHS working experience
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: have basic knowledge on EHS management, and technology background of Research & Development. Good communication skill in English & Chinese.
