Job Summary The Sourcing organization develops and executes holistic, enterprise-wide category management strategies. This includes strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. You will be part of the Sourcing team that looks after sort equipment purchase, maintenance, integration and innovation. You will be responsible for developing strategies for the assigned enterprise-wide categories and manage sourcing projects in APAC region. Job Description Leads the development and execution of holistic, enterprise-wide category management strategies, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, diversity, and risk management initiatives. Develops, executes, and manages sourcing strategies using the Company's sourcing methodology. This role is responsible for supporting sourcing and procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management. This role requires strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Essential Functions - Assist in the identification, evaluation, and selection of vendors and suppliers. Conduct supplier research, supplier qualification assessments, and vendor due diligence to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements. - Support contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure favourable terms, pricing, and conditions. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory requirements. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining accurate records of purchases and expenses. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier inquiries, issues, and escalations. Work collaboratively with suppliers to address performance issues, resolve disputes, and drive continuous improvement. - Analyse pricing proposals, cost structures, and total cost of ownership (TCO) to evaluate supplier bids and proposals. Identify opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, and value optimization through strategic sourcing and negotiation tactics. - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the procurement process. Monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular risk assessments to mitigate supplier-related risks. - Develops category expertise, category management expertise, and market contacts, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders in all aspects of sourcing. - Leads internal projects/programs. - Acts with authority with suppliers, business stakeholders, Finance, and Legal. - May be required to perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, finance or related field. Minimum Experience Minimum four (4) years work experience in sourcing, financial analysis or supply chain management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience. - Excellent knowledge of project management, current technology tools/advances, and database/analytical tools. Good interpersonal skills. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Experience with CAPEX and OPEX sourcing for material handling equipment in APAC region and / or on a global scale is a plus in categories related to integration of sort systems, maintenance of sorters, weight & dimension equipment. Language: English and Mandarin.
