How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support the on-boarding of new suppliers by performing supplier capability analysis and assessing supplier risk.
- Lead product and process qualification for suppliers providing combustion components, focusing on complex machining, sheet metal fabrication, and investment casting.
- Plan and implement supplier quality assurance measures throughout the entire supplier lifecycle to ensure supply chain resiliency.
- Conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive measures for quality issues.
- Apply risk management methodologies to prevent quality issues at the supply base.
- Support the development of new/revised components to ensure manufacturability and source-ability, providing technical evaluation of design changes for cost impact analysis.
- Find opportunities for innovation and improvement by exploring technical advancements, industry standards, and internal process enhancements through digitalization.
- Actively support procurement and business initiatives, including Localization, Local 4 Global, Sourcing Strategy Development, and Sustainability.
What You Bring
- Experience as a quality engineer, manufacturing engineer, or design engineer. Practical manufacturing experience with combustion parts is preferred.
- Working experience in technical functions in the energy, oil & gas, or related industries is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering-related field.
- Proactive, committed, and possessing strong analytical thinking.
- Experience working in a global environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality & risk management methodologies.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30%.
- Project management experience is preferred.
