We’re seeking a Marketing Manager in China who can effectively convey these customer benefits and champion our expansion.
Job Description:
As Marketing Manager for China, you will develop and execute a customer-centric marketing strategy, emphasizing the benefits our products bring to end users across different sectors. You will understand the importance of differentiating customer benefit arguments from product feature arguments and communicate these effectively to drive brand loyalty and customer engagement. You’ll play a key role in expanding Waldmann’s brand awareness using social media to connect with our audience and highlight the real-world impact of our solutions, as well as exhibitions and sell-out support for our dealers and partners.
Key Responsibilities: Customer-Centric Strategy Development: -Develop a marketing strategy focused on customer benefits specific to the product segments: Industrial- office- Educational- and healthcare lighting -Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure that marketing communications prioritize customer benefits over technical features, reinforcing Waldmann’s value proposition in each market. -Develop and expand a network of influencers, particularly those in industrial, design, healthcare, and educational sectors, to increase brand reach and credibility -Create and oversee social media campaigns that engage target audiences with valuable content, customer stories, and real-life applications of Waldmann’s lighting solutions. -Support product launches by creating benefit-driven marketing materials, showcasing how Waldmann’s lighting solutions address specific customer needs. -Work with sales teams to develop tailored presentations and marketing assets that emphasize benefits over features, enhancing sales effectiveness. -Utilize local digital platforms and social media channels to distribute content effectively and measure engagement. -Conduct market research to gain insights into customer needs, preferences, and usage patterns within each segment. -Organize events, trade show participation, and targeted workshops that allow potential customers to experience the benefits of Waldmann’s products firsthand. -Collaborate with PR and content teams to share these success stories, emphasizing customer satisfaction and long-term benefits.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Experience: 5+ years in marketing, with a background in customer benefit-focused marketing and experience in influencer and social media engagement.
Skills: Proven ability to distinguish and communicate customer benefits over product features, with a customer-*** marketing approach. Strong experience in influencer and social media marketing, ideally within the lighting, technology, or B2B/B2C industries. Knowledge of local digital and social media platforms, with the ability to develop creative, customer-driven campaigns. Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English, with a track record of successful stakeholder engagement. (CN Nationality)
