Job Summary:
The TTI vendor Manager / Manager, Account Support is responsible for overseeing and managing relationships with key vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and delivering high-quality service to meet client expectations. This role focuses on selecting, onboarding, and continuously optimizing vendor performance to enhance service quality and cost efficiency. The Account Manager will work cross-functionally to monitor vendor KPIs, address performance gaps, and implement process improvements to strengthen Century’s overall value proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Vendor Relationship Management
a. Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for all communication and issue resolution.
b. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with Century’s operational and financial objectives.
c. Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors, providing feedback to enhance service delivery and ensure alignment with company standards.
B. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
a. Develop and monitor vendor performance metrics, including service quality, delivery timelines, and cost-effectiveness, to ensure vendors meet contractual obligations.
b. Track and analyze vendor performance data, providing insights and reports to senior management and recommending improvements.
c. Oversee vendor compliance with industry regulations, Century’s quality standards, and customer-specific requirements.
C. Process Improvement and Optimization
a. Identify opportunities to improve vendor-related processes, driving initiatives to enhance service efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
b. Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements that enhance vendor performance and support overall business objectives.
c. Lead efforts to streamline vendor onboarding, ensuring that new vendors meet Century’s standards and are equipped to deliver optimal service.
D. Cross-Functional Collaboration
a. Work closely with Customer Success and Operations teams to understand and address client needs, translating them into vendor management strategies.
b. Collaborate with the finance department to manage vendor budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
c. Partner with quality assurance teams to implement corrective action plans for vendors not meeting performance standards.
E. Risk Management and Compliance
a. Evaluate and manage risks associated with vendor relationships, implementing measures to mitigate potential disruptions in service delivery.
b.Ensure all vendors adhere to compliance standards, including regulatory requirements and Century’s internal policies.
c. Lead vendor audits to assess adherence to quality and compliance standards, documenting findings and overseeing corrective actions.
Required Qualifications:
A. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; certifications in Vendor Management or Procurement are an advantage.
B. Experience: 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain roles, with a focus on vendor relationship management.
C. Demonstrated experience in managing contracts, performance metrics, and service quality within a fast-paced industry.
D. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams.
E. Proficiency in vendor management and ERP software, as well as data analysis tools for performance monitoring.
F. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to addressing performance issues and driving process improvements.
G. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple vendor relationships simultaneously.
H. Other Requirements
a. Ability to adapt to changing business needs, managing vendor relationships in a dynamic environment.
b. Willingness to travel regionally to vendor sites and conduct on-site performance evaluations as needed.
