Key Responsibilities: 61 Teach the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course in both English and Chinese in accordance with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum framework. 61 Foster an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. 61 Design and implement lesson plans that promote critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and effective communication skills. 61 Guide students in exploring various knowledge questions and real-life situations, fostering connections between different areas of knowledge. 61 Support students in developing their TOK exhibitions and essays, providing constructive feedback and guidance throughout the process. 61 Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to promote growth and improvement. 61 Collaborate with other IB teachers to integrate TOK concepts into other subject areas and promote interdisciplinary understanding. 61 Stay updated on developments in IB education and participate in professional development opportunities as required. 61 Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive school community.
Qualifications: 61 Fluent in both English and Chinese. 61 A master's degree is preferred. 61 3 to 5 years of experience in teaching the TOK curriculum. 61 IB workshop experience is highly desirable. 61 Strong understanding of educational theories, pedagogical practices, and assessment methods relevant to TOK. 61 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 61 Passion for fostering critical thinking, open-mindedness, and intellectual curiosity in students.
