1. Service Description Cloud operations includes responsibility for maintaining the resource and integrity of cloud-based systems to work with a variety of different technologies, including servers, storage, networking, security and other cloud-based components.
61 Design and provision cloud resources to support various types of IT project requests. 61 Work with IT Security to implement security measures to protect data and system in the cloud. 61 Design and implement disaster recovery solutions for cloud-based solutions to mitigate risks associated with natural disasters or human error. 61 Create detailed documentation of all technical aspects of a cloud system such as configuration settings and troubleshooting procedures. 61 Perform capacity planning to determine proper resources to handle applications’ direct requirement and expected growth. 61 Monitor the health and performance of cloud systems by configuration and analyzing monitoring and log items in the related systems. 61 Develop and maintain automated infrastructure as code solutions with appropriate governance to help streamline processes, such as cloud resource provision, change, decommission and other specific tasks in the cloud environment. 61 Review and optimize resource structure and utilization to improve cost efficiency
Server and operation system operations includes responsibility in maintaining server, operation system, storage, virtualization and virtual desktop infrastructure across various locations of NDB.
61 Configure and manage servers of different operating systems, Linux and Windows, including installing, fixing issues, and upgrading while implementing enhancements to them to improve performance and reliability. 61 Setup server and system benchmarks setup and operation maintenance. 61 Support virtualization software, such as VMware. Scripting with PowerShell, Terraform and Ansible, support Citrix XenDesktop and VMware Horizon VDI Solutions. 61 Support implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the server and storage. 61 Thoroughly understand patching tools and security vulnerability scanning. Interpret information in generated reports and come up with strategies to get rid of unearthed vulnerabilities. 61 Create project plans for all system deployment and modifications and document them.
61 Handle server environment, which includes installing new servers, phasing out servers, and fixing issues with existing servers. Tackling specific server related assignments. 61 Research new hardware and software technologies to understand and learn them so that they can train and guide their team members from other departments. They use best practices and keep in touch with internal and external business matters to enhance products and services of their organization. 61 Regular check the server and storage hardware health status. Oversee the data center environment conditions provided by the headquarters facility management function and act accordingly in case of operation change that may affect the server, storage and virtualization systems. This includes planned shutdown, turn-on and service verification of these on-premises devices.
2. Service engineer qualifications 61 Degree in computer science or a similar field. 61 At least 5 years of experience in the field of cloud computing, OS and server management. 61 Certifications of at least one of the public clouds including Alibaba Cloud, Azure and AWS. 61 Experience with databases, cloud RDS, MySQL, SQL server and Oracle. 61 Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills. 61 Good communication, collaboration skills in English. 61 Experience with CI/CD systems and DevOps is preferred 61 Certificate with Linux system is preferred. 61 Familiar with at least one programming language or script language used in the infrastructure management domain.
