Drive cleaning capability development and improvement, lead cleanliness solutions delivery and manufacturing transfer in multiple projects related to various chemical processing, working scope includes but not limited to:
61 Focus on chemical cleaning and processing to 1. Maintain deep knowledge of chemical principles and their implementations for wafer-scale or larger panels in semiconductor or related processing, for example, a. Shape and dimensions (edge and surface profile, bow/warp, thickness and variations, 3D via/hole), b. Physical properties (refractive index, absorption, birefringence, scattering, stress, hermiticity, strength, surface/interface characteristics), and c. Defects (particle, scratch, dig, bubble inclusions). 2. Improve wafer cleanliness through implementation of new processes and improvement of existing processes. 3. Support new product introduction (NPI). Determine or improvise appropriate tools, fixtures, processing, and related integration flows. a. To provide data to ensure processes are in control and capable to meet customer specifications and requirements. b. Define requirements for equipment calibration, maintenance, and process flow integration of chemical processing tools. 4. Design experiments and analyze data to identify and implement improvements to the cleaning equipment or process. a. Support process issue mitigation and improvement through data analysis, experimentation, and collaboration with other SMEs. b. Provide trend analysis of key metrics and implement response plans. Identify chronic issues and recommend corrective actions. c. Recommend/implement improvements to processes and equipment.
61 Provide chemical engineering and advanced surface chemical processing support to the glass products throughout the entire business unit. 1. Provide technical leadership and support for chemical processing, including to invent, design, select, modify, or repurpose equipment and/or facility. a. Equipment deployment, maintenance, commission, and decommission projects. b. Develop and update engineering processes. Formulate, document, and train team with standard operation procedures regarding operations changes. 2. Understand and apply the quality architecture. Clearly articulate and document internal/external risks. You may conduct data collection, retrieval, plotting, modeling, interpretation, and other analysis with a talented team. 3. Lead or support development and technology transfer throughout development, engineering, production, and all the way to Contractor Manufacture (CM) management. 4. Lead and/or provide support for projects involving cost reduction, process optimization, new product, and process introduction.
61 This position works closely with program managers, supply chain, contract manufacturers, operation management, manufacturing engineering, functional leaders, other engineering, and commercial organizations to establish work priorities and assignments.
Requirements: Education & Experience
61 Required Education: BS/MS degree with the following order of preference: Material science/engineering; Chemical engineering; Physical Chemistry. Candidates with PhD are encouraged to apply. 61 Work experience in chemical processing and/or precision wafer processing is highly preferred. Willingness to learn and explore new areas. 61 Experience working in a wafer processing clean room setting is required. 61 Work experience in an engineering or other technical role in a new product or equipment development. Preference will be given to candidates in semiconductor (Si, SiC or compound) or glass/sapphire wafer clean processing, semiconductor precise cleaning equipment development or application, and/or related manufacturing. 61 Desired Years and Area of Experience: >10yr work experience, including >5yr experience in manufacturing environment of semiconductor related industry is desired.

Ability to transfer and integrate new technology into a manufacturing environment including process startup and technical knowledge transfer. 9. Ability to solving problem through troubleshooting on product or process related issues. 10. Confident presentation skills and ability to tailor message to audience.
