Major responsibilities: 61 The Cost Accounting Manager will have responsibility to provide oversight and direction for the plant/operations Asia Pacific region. 61 Work closely with our India SSC center and direct India SSC staff to ensure accurate financials are recorded at plant operating sites and provide oversight & direction for complex financial postings. 61 Be expected to primary support regional controlling but with strong connection with regional FP&A team. 61 Serve as a business partner to the supply chain organization to drive business KPI′s. 61 Day to day activities will be ensuring the region is collectively managing operating cost of goods sold including Product Costing, Plant spend, plant production, plant absorption, outbound freight, warehouse costs, and cost of sales adjustments. 61 Explanations to prior year, plan, and forecast; cross-functional involvement with other areas of finance and supply chain. 61 Collaborate with the internal and external audits. 61 Standardize inventory process in APAC region, such as inventory write off, physical/cycle count process, initial cost set up, SMOG, 3rd party GIT 61 Lead project related to costing, like warehouse adder, freight adder Successful profile: 61 Min. 8 years accounting experience including 3-5 years cost accounting in multinational/manufacturing company. 61 SAP / ERP Systems knowledge is required. 61 Proficient in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP material ledger preferred but not required 61 Excellent interpersonal skills with outstanding verbal/written communications skills 61 Self-starter; motivated to learn and operate independently 61 Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility 61 Solid analytical, problem identification and resolution skills 61 Proficient in English
