Key Responsibilities and Mission
●Contribute your knowledge to develop solutions and products that support the Roche China commercial business domain and the digital transformation in this area.
●Works with our business to understand their business processes, information needs and with other members across the organization to connect the dots in our informatics organization to identify and design solution options that support the business needs.
●Leadership and Facilitation: Lead, facilitate, and analyze to ensure that architecture solutions are scalable and capable of evolving appropriately.
●Challenging the Status Quo: Undertake design tasks that challenge existing paradigms to ensure optimal and sustainable solutions.
●Solution Design and Delivery: Develop solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture standards and seamlessly integrate with the IT ecosystem, ensuring necessary levels of quality, integration, security, compliance, operability, and cost-effectiveness.
●Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage regularly with business stakeholders and the China Market Enabling Squad, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with strategic objectives.
●Mission: Ensure that a well-architected solution design is produced for the target solution and the IT ecosystem. Combine various technology components/products to meet requisite standards of quality, integration, security, compliance, operability, and cost. Design, evaluate, and deliver solutions by applying architectural design principles to translate Roche’s business strategies into fit-for-purpose solutions for the technology landscape, thereby adding value to the business.

The Ideal Candidate
●Has more than 5 years of solid experience participating in architecture teams in different disciplines and has a strong passion for bringing value-adding technology to the business.
●Has experience designing the microservices architecture with the concept of Domain-Driven-Design(DDD).
●Has solid experience designing Cloud-native solutions and knows very well the ecosystem that is needed to succeed in building this new architecture, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.
●Has experience in the Digital/Technological environment of China.
●Good team player, has experience managing and interacting with stakeholders, and influences them to align technology with business goals.
●Has solid experience in doing projects using modern architectures like microservices, decoupled architectures, containers, and API driven.
●Has knowledge of designing and implementing solutions using Cloud services and Cloud Design patterns (Ali Cloud and AWS Cloud experience are desirable).
●Has experience on Integration Patterns like API Integration, Enterprise Messaging, Event Streaming, and Distributed Architectures and knowledge on integrating several solutions in different technologies to provide a consolidated service to the final user.
●Has experience in agile methodologies, scrum, squads, and kanban, and exhibits an Agile mindset.
●Willingness to adopt and learn new technologies and implement different architectural approaches to enable business goals
