We are seeking a high caliber candidate to join our international team as “CHINA MARKET MANAGER” working based in Shanghai with the following qualifications: Job description: Acquisition of exhibitors, buyers, and visitors in China - Establish and carry out the annual canvassing strategy in China. - Develop the key accounts and sales agent network to ensure optimum coverage of the customer base in Chinese sales territories on exhibitor, buyer and visitor side. - Stewardship of China sales agents to define effective and timely canvassing budgets, monitor activities, report on leads and sales, identify opportunities in sales territories. - Establish and carry out Chinese buyer recruitment plan. - Establish partnership with Chinese leading buyer companies and key players in the market. - Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations, such as governmental departments, associations, sales agents. - Creative thinking to spot new opportunities and to establish rapid growth within the Chinese market. - Market research including market analysis and -monitoring of the fresh produce industry and AFL competitor activities. - Coordinate internal processes that lead to high motivation and best results. - Coordinate China located special events like roadshows, industry meetups and conference for the China market. - Handle exhibitor and trade visitor registration system related to the Exhibitor Management System (EMS), ticket shop etc. - Perform on-site duties and ad hoc tasks assigned by the company. Qualifications: 61 Bachelor’s degree or higher. 61 Chinese nationality with 5-8 years working experience, preferably in business development function. Industry knowledge in China within the fresh produce sector is essential. Professional experience in large event or exhibition industry is a plus. 61 Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese. 61 Sales presentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office tools. 61 Detail oriented, well organized, energetic, enthusiastic. 61 Quick learner, hardworking, positive attitude, service minded, intercultural competence. 61 Able to work under pressure, high level of self-motivation, enjoy teamwork. 61 Able to travel overseas independently from time to time.
