Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Functional Safety Expert to join our dynamic team in the industrial robotics sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our robotic systems meet the highest safety standards. This role is critical in maintaining the safety integrity of our products and processes.
Responsibilities: 61Provide requesting project with artifacts related to certification of affected module/prod-uct variants, including new variants, products etc. 61Follow up and document changes to the modules within the scope of the project accord-ing to the relevant safety management plan and inform safety managers of these changes. 61Maintain the risk assessment log for affected modules in the scope of the project. 61Ensure regular liaison meetings with each party imposing safety related change requests on the module. 61Ensure that the required safety confirmation measures (confirmation reviews, safety as-sessment, safety audit) for the module/product are performed. 61Ensure that the applicable module/product fulfills the safety requirements including those on Performance Level or equivalent. 61Escalate and document deviations from the Safety management plan to relevant safety managers and support in resolution of deviations. 61Act as representative in relevant Safety CCBs, when addressing topics related to own pro-ject. 61Help to define safety related project content before G2, e.g. initial impact analysis, if ap-plicable. 61Provide functional safety training to internal teams and contribute to the development of safety-related policies and procedures. 61Stay current with evolving functional safety standards and regulations, ensuring that the company's products and practices remain compliant. 61Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions as needed. 61Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the safety and reliability of our prod-ucts and processes.
Qualifications: 61Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 61A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety-critical systems. 61Familiarity with functional safety standards such as ISO 13849, IEC 61508, and relevant national and international regulations. 61Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex safety-critical systems. 61Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential. 61Fluent in English, both written and spoken
