Job Description The candidates will play roles in our cell line development programs and FACS facility. Activities range from vector development, development of stable cell lines, cell banking, FACS analysis, etc. Responsibilities Execute the cell line development programs to develop stable cell lines of a variety of uses, including target protein overexpression, target gene knockout, and reporter gene assay cell lines. Or work as a flow cytometry specialist in our FACS core facility, support various FACS related assays, such as membrane protein number quantification, FACS binding assays, etc. Do literature research independently, draft and follow protocols, perform plasmid construction, transfection, cell culture, FACS analysis, cell sorting, cell banking and reporter gene assays. Formulate conclusions, generate technical reports for commerical programs. Effectively collaborate and communicate with colleagues within and across functions. Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, controlled drug where applicable. Qualifications A Bachelor or Master degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry. Knowledge and technical experience in working with various mammalian cell lines and molecular biology, with preference given to those with expertise in development of stable cell lines and CRISPR gene knockout cell lines. Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as good organizational and time management skills, are desired.
