As the Vertical Leader, you will work closely with global vertical leader to manage and develop key global accounts in APAC. Also work and lead a talented team of fields sales, operations and branch managers. Your primary responsibility will be to grow key vertical customers’ performance in APAC and drive the success of APAC virtual team by providing strategic guidance, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the effective execution of account strategies. This role is crucial in maintaining and growing relationships with our global team, aligning business objectives, and delivering exceptional results across the organization. You’ll oversee the performance of the vertical, and drive growth opportunities and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities 61 Directly manage key vertical accounts in APAC to develop net and gross revenue set as target including air, ocean, warehousing & brokerage. 61 Work closely with global industry leader to develop and execute account strategies to ensures attainment of revenue and margin/yield goals for APAC. 61 Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. 61 Establishes relationships with senior levels within key vertical accounts. 61 Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy for each account that ensures attainment of all required sales activities including sales calls, proposal presentations, VIP trips, as well as any other necessary sales activities. 61 Work closely with product, operations, and all function teams to provide consultative solutions and quality services. 61 Develops and maintains account intelligence mechanism that records and reports all sales activities, account information, marketplace and industry information, competitive information, as well as any other necessary information. 61 Conduct regular team performance reviews and ensure continuous improvement. 61 Monitor monthly performance metrics, take corrective actions when necessary.
Your Skills and Experiences 61 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 61 10+ years of experience in account management and business development. 61 Strong vertical knowledge with proven success in developing the responsible vertical. 61 Solid knowledge in supply chain, logistics (air, sea, road), and consultative selling. 61 Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. 61 Fluent in English. 61 Willingness to travel up to 50%.
