Key Responsibilities: 61 Assist the general manager and business development to implement market expansion strategies, seek new business opportunities, develop potential customers and increase the company's market share. 61 Develop business strategy and review current practices, workload and diversity. 61 Review team structure and identify any areas for further employment, both operationally & sales. 61 Supervise the overall operation process of current business, covering aspects like booking space, customs declaration, transportation arrangements and warehousing, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards to avoid errors causing delays or losses. 61 Maintain existing customer/agent relationships, promptly solve problems customers face during freight process to ensure satisfaction and promote long-term cooperation. 61 Review of current supplier base in order to improve service and to save cost. 61 Regularly analyze problems and bottlenecks in the business process, offer optimization suggestions and cooperate with relevant departments to implement them for improved operational efficiency. 61 Motivate & inspire the team to reach their full potential Behaviour Competencies: 61 Leadership. Financial Responsibilities: 61 Assist General Manager to checking and reporting final financial figures. 61 Actively thinking of new commission base structures to improve targeted results. 61 Pushing the teams through Sales strategy to meet goals & objectives. 61 Report pricing issues to help cost analysis. Staff Management: 61 Assist the general manager in team building, participate in recruiting and selecting suitable freight forwarding professionals to strengthen the business team. 61 Conduct performance reviews for subordinate employees, give evaluations and incentives based on their work performance to motivate them and promote personal and team development. 61 Build strong sub-divisions. Air, Ocean & Supply Chain Requirements: 61 Bachelor’s degree or above, with 7+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics &related industries. 61 Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures. 61 Familiarity with various modes of transportation (air, ocean, rail, and road) and their respective requirements. 61 Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate complex logistics initiatives. 61 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 61 Proficient in MS Office and experienced in using logistics management software and tools. 61 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 61 Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 61 Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. 61 Fluent in both English and Chinese, oral and written.; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
