DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists in routine pre-examination procedures including assessing and recording objective and subjective data concerning presenting condition. Updates and maintains a patient record by ordering laboratory tests and imaging investigations, assisting in coding, and other tasks as assigned. Performs medication reconciliation and fills in past medical history. 2.Provides inpatient care, such as daily ward round, ordering medications, assisting in specialty care and symptom management, monitoring for compliance and the effects of care management with high risk patients, and writing medical notes. 3.Closely coordinates with hospitalists or physicians in inpatient care to implement multidisciplinary care when needed. 4.Performs patient care measures including dressing changes and other measures when required. 5.Assists in surgical procedures, including pre-operative checks; intra-operative assisting in surgeries; and post-operative care procedures. 6.The physician will assist in patient education, educate on prescriptions and teach the patient and family, coordinate and ensure continuity of care. 7.Understands necessary computer functions in the office setting, such as Electronic Medical Records, and any other necessary. 8.Maintains a high level of confidentiality and ensures patient’s rights in accordance with the policies in Jiahui Health. 9.Performs other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Certificate of the completion of accredited internship training program or equivalent Sound interpersonal skills to communicate efficiently and effectively Knowledge and skills in primary care, able to handle ward patient effectively Basic surgical skills such as assisting in surgery preferred Basic orthopedic knowledge preferred English skills in communication preferred
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Reading/writing medical records and documents in English Basic oral communication with patients and other staffs in English
