The client is looking to onboard a high-potential SW engineer for the manufacturing test station. This engineer will work closely with other engineers from HWTE teams and multi-functional teams from worldwide. He/She will lead Vendor/Contract Manufacturer teams to accomplish software development, issue debugging, and data analysis. Be responsible for the full spectrum of the lifecycle of the test system from prototyping to deployment at mass production. Scope Design SW to control the test station/HW, data acquisition, and processing algorithm; Write, debug, and integrate tests for new silicons and product features; On-site support product development builds in factories; Triage and diagnose issues with a multi-functional team from diverse engineering backgrounds; Work collaboratively with Station DRIs, CM DRIs, OpsTE to deliver better solutions and execute tasks throughout the project build stages. Bring up, debug, and mature the test system during NPI build cycle; Communicates and presents to management in terms of strategies, data, and status. Setup and maintenance of factory process controls, documentation, HW requests, SW bundle validation, and release, tracking & reporting dry-run and build issues, yield & retest improvements, CM training & coordination, etc. Requirements MS/BS degree in CE, CS, EE, or equivalent. Working knowledge of Objective-C/C and able to work comfortably with Xcode. Hands-on skill in at least one of scripting languages: python/lua/bash. Work experience as SW developer/System engineer/Embedded engineer, preferably on test platform development, data acquisition, and instrumentation development. Good English writing/oral and interpersonal skills. Able to do on-site work in factory during development builds
