Scope: Cover all Performance Materials product and business, incl. Heat Shrink Tubing, EMI Shielding, and future acquired new product portfolios.
1. Engage and work intimately with customer to recommend products and solutions for both existing and new products 2. Identify and develop new business opportunities, new applications of existing and new products, collect VOC, understand the specified technical unmeet needs, requirements for solving customer problems. 3. Develop new product development needs, drive NPI pipeline and roadmap development based on in depth understanding of market and customer needs in future trends 4. Drive and support sales & NPI pipeline conversion and delivery to generate incremental growth 5. Provide application support throughout the sales cycle of potential opportunities to ensuring high quality and timely execution for final results delivery
Responsibility:
Customer interaction 61 Function as technical interface between customer and TE. Establish relationships with key customer engineering contacts and decision makers 61 Works intimately with customer on daily bases, often at their site, to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications. 61 Provide customer support, consulting services, recommends TE solutions to customers’ requirements 61 Coordinate the technical deliverables related to customer projects including new spec-in, modifications to existing products, test studies, etc.
Business Development 61 Have strong application knowledge to identify current and future customer needs, Identify & develop new opportunities & applications for incremental business growth 61 Penetrate customers’ design cycle to be involved in early stages of new design, model planning 61 Generate, prepare, and present TE Proposals (e.g. product selection, design solutions, product specifications, evaluation reports) to customers in conjunction with the TE engineering team 61 Provide application support throughout the sales cycle to ensuring high quality and timely execution for final results delivery and business generation
NPI pipeline development 61 Identify potential NPI opportunities from customer interactions, with the ability to provide conceptual design and recommendations. 61 Collect VOC and specify customer application and specification needs, draft Product Requirement Document (PRD) for new product development 61 Coordinates technical communications and activities with customers, ensure aligned development targets and solutions in between TE and customer 61 Support product qualifications, ensure product samples, supporting design, and verification activities 61 Track development progress, work closely with engineering teams to insure that they are meeting the customers’ needs 61 Provide technical marketing support to new product launch and introduction; ensuring high quality content, with effective technical data support.
Support existing business 61 Support existing applications and products including application evaluation, after-sale technical consulting, etc. 61 Develop a full technical introduction of focus products, industries, and applications. 61 Drive customer issue resolution. Determine best course of action to solve technical problem, in required timeline 61 Manage post-acquisition technical integration of M&A relating to application engineering.
Support product roadmap and strategy 61 Understand the market and leading customers’ technology, strategic direction, trends and unmeet needs. Summarize and share the findings to PM and Engineering teams for future roadmap 61 Defines and maintain a clear customer focus and pipeline aligned to Product Management strategy
