About the role
Product application engineer responsibility for the product definition, verification and application. Ensure the product are well defined according to customer requirement and market trend. Perform verification test in both device and system level. Continuously improve user experience via customer document, reference design and trainings.
What you will do
61Provide support to customers in all phases of the design process including evaluation, design-in and production. Provide support on usage of Nexperia IGBT discrete and module.
61Understand customer requests and participate to the new product enhancement (NPI Process)
61Provide support to Nexperia sale, marketing and FAE team for customer design in activities
61Providing help to R&D in the product development, product application validation, and system-level debug to ensure successful product design launch.
61build application / demos / drivers porting or development
61perform technical feasibility studies on key functions
61Review Reference Manuals and Data Sheets and contribute to Developer guides or manuals.
What you will need
61Experience with power electronic hardware design the testing.
61Experience using test equipment, design test program.
61Experience using software debugging tools to view and program processor registers will be a plus.
61Technical writing skills for creating application notes, white papers, and user’s guides / reference manuals.
61Working with the marketing, design, architecture, validation, and teams to write and develop design specifications for PCB reference design and validation board hardware for IGBT.
61Education in Electrical or Electronic Engineering to college or university level, better to have relevant experience.
61Proper understanding of Electrical / Electronic circuits
61Fluent in English.
