Summary The Purchasing Controlling is a direct report to the Director Purchasing Controller.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities 1. Executing Procurement Controlling Management function to support the functional steering of Group wide procurement activities 2. Ensuring transparent, complete and consistent reporting and KPI system for JSS Procurement; steering of specific Procurement KPI across all JSS Purchasing organizations 3. Driving ongoing development of non-financial KPI; global implementation of non-financial KPI across all Regions 4. Managing the interface with Controlling 5. Ensuring comparison of actual/ target values in the region reporting 6. Organizing and accompanying the quarterly Procurement reviews with the Cluster Management , Regional Procurement Head`s 7. Responsibility for provisioning market intelligence, identifying Procurement risks and opportunities and ensuring data transparency 8. Disciplinary and functional leadership responsibility for assigned staff 9. Leadership responsibility for all staff responsible for Procurement Controlling and Regional level 10. Executing Procurement Controlling function to support functional steering of Group wide procurement activities 11. Development and implementation of KPI across all Procurement organizations, taking into due consideration JSS Procurement strategy and ensuring consistency with framework and reporting logic defined by Controlling 12. Implementing JSS Procurement strategy in area of responsibility; support JSS Procurement initiatives 13. Constant monitoring and reporting of target achievement and procurement activities of individual regions with regard to relevant Procurement KPI (e.g. suppliers, price sources, e.auctions, BCC-sourcing, etc.) in collaboration with the regions 14. Provisioning of information on annual performance targets in Procurement in collaboration with Controlling 15. Implementation of state-of-the-art technologies and latest trends in Procurement Controlling in consultation with Controlling 16. Supporting development of a comprehensive IT-infrastructure for Procurement in coordination with regions 17. Provisioning of supply market intelligence for JSS 18. Leading and developing assigned staff; supporting succession planning 19. Managing Group wide Procurement initiatives to improve market intelligence, the identification of Procurement risks and opportunities, and data transparency quality
Education & Experience: 1. Demonstrated experience in Controlling and / or Purchasing Controlling 2. College/university degree in business administration or comparable studies 3. Multi-cultural and/or global experience 4. Larger scale company/systems integration experience 5. Strong Analytic thinker but with an execution bias 6. Deemed as transformational and/or a change agent 7. Strong leader and team builder 8. Comfortable with functioning in a global matrix operating environment
