Job Summary
Solution Architect role within Belden’s Global Products & Solutions (GPS) organization to assess, design, develop, build, and validate industrial ethernet network and/or digital automation network design projects. With in-depth technology knowledge about Belden solutions, the Solution Architect is expected to lead the effort in developing use cases and best practices in a multitude of customer industries and applications. Innovation and sharing technology insights both internally and externally are part of their daily tasks.
This position will report to Senior Manager, L3 Support.
You will make an impact in the following way:
61 Be part of the international wireless RF engineering team (Design, Measurement, Testing, Analysis, Diagnosis) supporting APAC regional projects.
61 Work alongside RF Engineers in R&D for Wireless Communications
61 Technical management & Maintenance of wireless signals and frequency waves for a smooth operation of equipment and wireless products
61 Be introduced to and learn various RF & wireless equipment to develop technical & management skills (identifying, tracking and itemising wireless equipment)
61 Require working on-site for RF survey and fine-tuning.
61 Document and visualize RF engineering designs in the form of design prerequisites, reports, installation procedures, performance metrics, and demonstrations.
61 Validating designs in the Belden Customer Innovation Center (CIC) lab with the Belden GPS team including validation of Belden technology with third-party products.
61 Reporting projects and customers’ feedback to Sales, Product Management, and Belden Engineering/R&D
What you will bring:
61 Education - 6-10+ years of experience in WiFi and LTE/5G RF engineering design and implementation. Background in Engineering is a must (Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Wireless/Communication Engineering).
61 Markets - Strong Knowledge of Wireless & RF Equipment (Network Analyser & Oscilloscope & Spectrum Analyser, and Signal generator), WiFi standards & antennas and should be able to diagnose complex RF environments and provide in-depth analysis and design guidance.
Technical know-how in Industrial Ethernet and technologies like SCADA Industrial Control Systems, Digital Automation, Industrial Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Radio Frequency planning & AutoCAD drawing is a plus.
