We are seeking a Communications Specialist to join our APAC Communications Team. The person we are looking for will be responsible for external and internal communications in China, ensuring that global and APAC messaging is effectively transmitted at market level, as well as developing market appropriate communications. This person will report to the APAC Communications and Media Relations Team Manager. The Communications Specialist is responsible for the following activities: 61 Assisting with external communications efforts, including media outreach, event support, and content creation to enhance brand recognition. 61 Supporting the production of marketing and communication materials such as social media posts, basic brochures, website updates, and newsletters, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. 61 Helping adapt and implement global/APAC Internal Communications initiatives for the China team, ensuring relevance and alignment. 61 Contributing to the development of internal communication materials, such as newsletters, simple video content, and employee announcements to foster alignment with company goals. 61 Assisting in organizing employee engagement events like town halls and team-building activities. 61 Collaborating with China colleagues across the operating segments and central functions to develop news, stories and other activities/channels which stimulate employee engagement with core company messages and initiatives. 61 Supporting China employee events, including but not limited to Town Halls and Employee Engagement Activities. 61 Liaising with a suite of agencies (including creative, digital, media, event management, public relations and print) Qualifications/requirements: 61 Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar 61 3+ years of solid experience in a marketing and/or communications role 61 Outstanding written and verbal English skills with meticulous attention to detail 61 take complex information and craft meaningful messages for various stakeholders 61 Demonstrated knowledge of marketing communications, including experience managing social and digital media 61 Expert proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook 61 Basic proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop 61 Experience or ability to quickly learn creative applications such as Canva and ClipChamp 61 Experience working across diverse professional, cultural and language backgrounds 61 Experience in agriculture and/or machinery not essential but highly regarded
