Job Summary: Support the customers in product design resulting in growing business. Interface with the engineering departments of customers and suppliers. Perform a variety of product, technical, and sales functions, including but not limited to pre/post sales support, research, design, and development support, with the engineering team from Germany.
Principal Responsibilities: 1. Proactively develop and implement the technical sales account penetration strategy presenting new products and technologies to current and potential customers; develop knowledge to uncover, understand, compare, and contrast the solutions (pre-component selection). Provide valuable participation in supplier/customer design reviews.
2. Good understanding of customer needs relative to product(s), technology, direction, competition, design process and design cycle
3. Identify and develop relationships with each account's key technical and procurement decision makers and influencers
4. Market products and services to customer procurement team with supplier partners that meet customer needs and lead to increased design activity, design wins and sales growth
5. Proactively align with the sales team in securing business. Communicate account calls with suppliers, sales, or customer
6. Creates presentations and other sales tools to enhance technical value and become a "trusted advisor" to both internal and external customers
7. Research major industry players to be able to communicate to internal and external customers industry trends and directions
8. Work closely with testing team
9. Assist in the creation and review of project timelines and recommend actions to ensure Customer deliverables are met per awarded timeline
Job requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in electronic engineering 2. Basic marketing, sales, or business understanding. 3. Minimum experience required is typically 2+ years with a bachelor's or equivalent. 4. Experience in circuit design and hardware development is preferred; 5. Experience in FAE/AE will be preferred. 6. Fast learner of new technology / new applications / new products. 7. Fluent Speaking/Listening English skills, and good read/writing in English. 8. Excellent presentation and communication (verbal & written) skills. 9. Good organizational capabilities. 10. Self-motivated & capable of working independently or within a small dynamic team. 11.
