Brief Job Description:
Axalta Coatings System is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to provide technical support to existing accounts and potential new customers regarding Voltatex® and Voltabas Impregnating Resin applications in Chinese NEV and transformer market. The selected individual needs to either support Sales or work independently to fulfill customers’ satisfaction on technical side.

Job Descriptions
· Pre-sale technical support:
- Visit customers together with Sales or independently to know customer needs
- Clarify customer’s technical requirements and recommend proper product & process
- Provide timely follow up for further technical discussion or technical document needs
- Provide on-site technical support if on-line trial is needed
- Optimize process parameters to maximize product performance
· Support Sales to sign technical agreement within sales contract framework
· After-sale technical support:
- Draft resin switch plan or new tank filling process for customers in advance
- Monitor tank filling process on customer site and provide effective process instruction
- Company and advise customer on 1st batch production to ensure its success and influence
- Cope with customer to optimize process parameters for cost down and other purposes
- Advise customer on resin daily maintenance
- Take lead to manage customer’s quality complaint, work with PM, Quality and GBT to provide trouble shooting solutions. Feedback, solve and close quality complaints timely.
· Establish thorough knowledge, perspective and industry insight of NEV and transformer market
· Work with product manager to see product developing trend, identify future customer needs, provide professional suggestions on R&D projects
· Provide timely update to management weekly base, including project pipelines, working schedule and customer call report via SFDC or email

Qualifications
· Bachelor degree or above
· Major in polymer science, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering is preferred.
· At least 3 years technical service experience in motor, transformer or other related industry
· Effective interpersonal communication skills
· Self-motivated and able to travel frequently
