Context and Main Missions: o The function is to design new product and to manage mechanical drawings following LEM’s best practice. o To work with purchasing team to launch manufacturing tools at supplier’s site. o To validate the mechanical parts with an objective of quality, cost and on-time delivery, and lead to solve technical issues. o To support improvement activity related to product design in LEM China Key responsibilities 61 Product design: Design for manufacturing & cost; Jigs, labels & package design; Datasheet drawings. 61 Design of plastic part manufactured using injection molding process. 61 Technical support to suppliers for mold launching, use engineering methodology to analysis the test data, solve the technical issues. 61 To calculate and simulate the mechanical behavior of the designed parts. 61 Material selection for the application especially for thermoplastic material 61 To manage mechanical design files on database 61 Technical support for mass production products, customer, quality and production. 61 Technical approval for mechanical parts. 61 Technology transfer work 61 Temporary tasks from superior managers Requirements: o Good understanding of plastic injection molding process and design rules for plastic part o Experience of plastic material property (PA, PBT, PC) o Stack-up analysis o Bachelor degree (or above) in mechanical design or relevant majors o Minimum 3 years practical experience as design engineer for components in mixed mechanic and electronic environment (magnetism background is a plus) o Good knowledge of English. (written and spoken), international working experience is a plus o Knowledge of material usage regulation (MSDS/ROHS/UL/REACH…) o Knowledge of IEC 61010 and IEC 60664 o 3D modeling and 2D creation experience (dimensioning, GD&T…) o Skillful with 3D modeling software (Creo elements/direct modeling or Solidworks or CATIA etc.) o Experience of automotive industry , knowledge of IATF 16949 (PPAP, IMDS…)
