Develops outright, or in partnership with others, compelling digital and social media strategies to promote the organization's products and services through digital channels. Establishes, maintains and updates stakeholder centric digital experiences, including the identification, selection and deployment of platforms, tools and applications that deliver on strategic programs and campaigns. Develops promotional programs and campaigns designed to achieve defined business objectives with target audiences via digital channels. Utilizes search engines to maximize Medtronic content utilization and visibility. Establishes and manages the relationships with search engines and third party sites as required and in accordance with company policies and governance structures. Manages the implementation and measures performance of digital programs, content and key stakeholder digital engagement results and develops insights into customer's digital behaviors. Develops and manages social media channels and social media campaigns to build stakeholder engagement. Establishes and maintains enterprise digital standards, policies and governance. Manages digital consultants, agencies and vendors. SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
