Located in Shanghai, China R&D center, SW development engineer will be part of one or several smart sensor product development team, and contribute to development of products for Asian market, but also as part of global SW development organization involved in other markets projects.
Statement of work in team: 61 Specify, implement, and test the embedded SW: o In early development phase, perform proof of concepts/prototyping for SW technical solutions & implement related SW modules; o During final development phase: analyze the SW requirements, specify SW architectural & design requirements, implement SW module in C language; o Perform the analysis of measurement data and test outcomes with defect root cause analysis and bug correction; o Perform the SW quality assurance activities: unitary/module/system SW qualification, intrusive & integration SW testing; 61 Develop specific tools/scripts for SW/HW development support (Python based); 61 Contribute and support the SW qualification activities performed by SW Qualification Engineer; 61 Support product Industrialization & production deployment activities; 61 Technical support to filed application issue and sample failure analysis;
Profile: 61 Bachelor degree of Software / Electrical / Control System and Instrumentation Engineering; 61 Confirmed experience in embedded SW implementation with strong proficiency in C programming; 61 Team worker with communication skills; 61 English level : CET-4 or above and fluent English speaking is a plus;
Skills: 61 Knowledge of real-time constraints of embedded targets and programming languages (C language, OS, 08C interfaces); 61 SW integration & scheduling (OS based & bare-metal implementation experience): o Understanding of compiler & linker processing; o 08C target & tool chain support knowledge is an asset; 61 Understanding of communication interfaces, CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet: o Automotive CAN & UDS communication protocol knowledge is an asset o Ethernet and related API protocols knowledge is an asset; 61 Understanding of the electrical measurement and laboratory tools (signal generators, multimeter, oscilloscope, etc); 61 Knowledge of Vector toolchain and/or Python test framework is an asset; 61 Knowledge of quality and/or safety standards way of working is an asset (MISRA, SIL, SSIL, ASIL, ASPICE, REQ);
