Reporting to General Manager, the Material Manager role involves leading the material team to carry out effective performance management and the establishment, evaluation and development of department members to ensure the effective operation of the whole team.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
61 Lead the material team to carry out effective performance management and the establishment, evaluation and development of department members to ensure the effective operation of the whole team. Audit on existing and on new potential suppliers;
61 Continuously develop and integrate the supply chain capability of some projects to meet the purpose of business expansion and optimization, fully understand customers' expectations of the supply chain, and coordinate the internal team to make plans to achieve it. Work with existing suppliers to solve quality issues;
61 Balance internal production related resources and provide optimal production plan to meet customer needs.
61 Implement inventory management strategy
61 Formulate the new process of the material department and coordinate the team cooperation of the material department.
61 Lead the system upgrade of material department.
61 Support various internal and external audit activities and internal lean improvement activities when necessary, especially lean supply chain management (flexible supply chain planning, alternative supply chain solutions, supply chain optimization, etc.)
61 Complete other duties assigned

Here is some of what you’ll need:
61 More than 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain and more than 5 years of management experience as a Manager. Working experience in large-scale manufacturing environment is preferred
61 Excellent communication and negotiation skills, good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
61 Familiar with Microsoft office software and material management system, such as SAP and Baan system.
61 Good project management ability, proficient in office software and other data processing tools, capable of processing and explaining necessary supply chain related theories, concepts and processes, and coping with all kinds of unexpected situations.
61 Good analytical thinking and problem solving ability, result oriented, effective problem analysis, data collection and solutions provider.
61 Able to effectively prioritize tasks and objectives at each stage and manage reasonable time schedule, and focus on process and result monitoring
