Key Responsibility 61 The primary responsibility of the position is to technically support DuPont Industrial and Circuit Solutions (ICS) at large, strategic accounts, and to develop new opportunities with leading Global OEMs and support new product developments. 61 Visible and highly motivated, the successful candidate will manage all aspects of the technology processes within AP region consisting of customers located primarily in China and occasionally in the greater AP region. 61 Supports Account Managers, Sales, Marketing and Product Managers and other ICS support functions in strengthening relationships with customers covering existing accounts as well as establishing relationships with new customers and OEMs. 61 Works closely with technology (ATG/R&D) and marketing by providing voice of customer relative to product performance and expectations of product attributes. 61 Performs technical, scientific, or information assignments. Plans project approaches and routinely formulates work plans. May be responsible for setting and defining technical objectives and assessing results. 61 Key success factors in this role are the ability to identify technical trend, market needs, develop solutions, to allow ICS to deliver and capture value. This requires the successful candidate to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and processes as well as the DuPont product and service offerings, especially Kapton® and Oasis ® insulation materials. 61 The role is highly consultative and the ability to combine technical knowledge/ resources to define and meet objectives that benefit customers and DuPont is critical. 61 Critical activities include prototyping, lab work, technical service, troubleshooting, and hands-on activities. Qualifications Requirements 61 Master's degree or above in electrical or mechanical engineering, materials science, electronics 61 At least 3 years’ experience in rail traction motors and/or high voltage electric machine design, aerospace high performance cable design and experience, and/or battery industry experience is an advantage 61 Demonstrated technical performance, the ability to building customer relationships, and business development experience is essential as this is a customer facing role 61 Able to demonstrate a high level of learning agility with the ability to adapt and learn new materials, applications, and processes 61 Demonstrated laboratory and hands on experiences 61 Ability to use own initiative, effective time management skills and result orientated 61 Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team of peers (which will often include other functions in DuPont, customer and OEM personnel) are essential. Ability to generate and present technical content to customers through papers, presentations, application note and prototypes. 61 Fluency in English & Mandarin 61 Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint 61 Familiarity with CRM system is a plus
