This position will base in North China Key Responsibilities: ● Manage South China Quality Control: Oversee and manage quality control operations in North China, ensuring compliance with Next's quality standards and requirements. ● Confirm Weekly QC Schedule: Communicate and confirm the weekly quality control schedule to relevant teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely inspections and assessments. ● Attend Preproduction Meetings: Participate in preproduction meetings with assigned factories to ensure quality requirements are understood and implemented. ● Follow up on high risk styles and conduct Inspection Audits: Perform inspection audits on assigned factories, follow up on production quality in particular high risk styles to ensure compliance with Next's standards. ● Resolve Production Issues: Support the team in resolving production issues related to quality, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. ● Develop Corrective and Preventive Actions: Investigate claims and collaborate with the team to develop corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues. ● New QC Induction and Ongoing Training: Conduct new QC inductions, providing necessary knowledge and skills to quality control personnel. Provide ongoing training to enhance their capabilities. ● Review Team Workload: Regularly review the team's workload based on business needs to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency
Requirements: ● At least 7 years’ relevant experience on quality assurance and control processes for Clothing & Non-Clothing items, especially familiar with Womenswear nightwear and accessories products. ● Experience in buying office / trading firm is preferred but not a must. ● Strong knowledge of quality control processes, methodologies, and tools. ● Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects effectively. ● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to investigate and resolve production issues. ● Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and suppliers.
