We are seeking a talented and experienced designer who is passionate about shipbuilding. As a designer at our company, you will play a key role in the development and construction of state-of-the-art maneuvering and energy saving solutions. Your creativity, technical expertise, and understanding of shipbuilding requirements will be crucial.
Reporting to the local manager.
Responsibilities:
？ Develop and design ship-equipment, major job in rudder and equipment structure, hull structure knowledgeable is preferred. ？ Create detailed design drawings, prepare and review technical documentation, including design manuals, assembly instructions, and maintenance guides. ？ Provide technical support during the production phase, troubleshooting design-related issues, and suggesting improvements. ？ Collaborate with other departments such as HQ design and production to ensure designs meet requirements. ？ Evaluate and select materials and components to ensure equipment quality and durability.
Requirements:
？ Bachelor’s degree in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, or a related field. ？ Demonstrable experience in ship or maritime structure design at least 5 years. ？ Proficiency in CAD software [3D-CAD and 2D-CAD software. (SolidWorks preferred)] and other relevant design tools. ？ Understanding of shipbuilding norms, guidelines, and standards. ？ Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for complex issues. ？ Teamwork and good communication skills to collaborate effectively with different departments. ？ Creativity and innovation to develop new solutions and designs. ？ Attention to detail and meticulous work ethic to minimize errors. ？ Excellent English language skills. (German language skills will be a plus but not a must)
