ABOUT YOUR ROLE: The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Finance works as an integral member of the Supply Chain organization and the Brand Finance organization and a partner to the controlling group. He/she will maintain a strong partnership between finance and Supply Chain group, provide strategic financial support to business in achieving the financial target. He/she will also build/retain a strong, agile, professional and a service-orientated Supply Chain finance team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Include but not limited to - Provide strategic financial support to the APAC Supply Chain group in achieving financial targets, - Closely partnering with the APAC Supply Chain leadership team supporting them in achieving the platform priorities and goals. - Responsible for the month end closing and provides the monthly forecast for adjustments/variances to standard costs (PPV, Duty, Freight, Sourcing/OH, FX, Inventory Adjustments, and Retail Variances) and provides comprehensive root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective action as required - Maintain the highest accounting and reporting standards and practices across all geographies and brands and ensure accurate and on time monthly financial close. - Participate in and influence key commercial/ operational decisions to drive both short- and long-term growth and sustainable profitability - Partner with brand team, supply chain operation team and shared serviced team to improve and align the process or implement enhancement via automation to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of finance operations and analysis - Build and develop a strong, agile, professional and a service orientated supply chain finance team.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus - Generally, ten years of progressive experience with three years of managerial experience - Competency requirements: Lead Change, Drive Operational Excellence etc. - Good leadership skills and a strong desire to manage team member and upskill team to positively contribute to the team’s success - Strong organization and communication skills - Skills: Strong influencing, communication and financial analysis skills. - Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, added proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is also preferred.
